Abstract:
The aim of this study is to examine the meaning of Afrofuturism on the Little Simz album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. The research focuses on the semantic meaning of the texts, the search for original sources of inspiration and the specifics of the musical and visual components. When analyzing the album Little Simz, we notice a variety of genres, including hip-hop, soul, R&B, electronic music and afrobeat. In addition, we deal with the musician’s approach to processing topics of a personal, social and political nature.
